What we fix
- Broken and rotten rails — replaced, not patched
- Posts — dug out, re-driven, concreted where they need it
- Gates and latches that don’t swing or don’t shut
- Loading ramps — timber, adjustable, the lot
- Races and forcing pens
- Head bails and vet areas
- Concrete work under yards and ramps
- Full rebuilds when the old yard is past saving
Done properly, once
A yard repair that fails with 200 head in it is dangerous. We use proper half-rounds and rails, set posts to take a beast leaning on them, and hang gates so they swing shut, not sag open. If a section is too far gone to repair, we’ll say so and price the rebuild — no surprises halfway through.

Book it around your stock work
Tell us when the yards are empty and we’ll work around your calendar — docking, weaning, TB testing, whatever’s coming up. Most repair jobs are done in a day or two.
Where we work: Rangitīkei and Whanganui first — Taihape, Hunterville, Marton, Bulls, Turakina, Waverley — plus Manawatū and the Waiouru side of Ruapehu. Plus the smaller spots in between — if you’re rural, we’ll come to you.
Yards past saving? See demolition for old yard and woolshed removal, and farm contracting for troughs, fencing and races.
